It is to be mounted at systems where microwave leakage could be exposed, i.e. at microwave tunnel entrance and exit, doors, etc.  It provides automatic continuous surveillance of 2450 MHz microwave fields for protection of personnel and equipment. The Monitor interlocks with any microwave source remotely disabling or alarming when the adjustable trip-point is exceeded. AC powered.

The full RS-232 serial data interface of the HI-1710 allows easy adapting of the unit to computerized data acquisition in laboratory studies and semi-automatic production test systems. Four digital filters can be selected from the front panel giving either the "Fast" and "Slow" responses familiar to analog survey meter users or one of two higher order filters which are adapted from automatic oven scanning techniques for faster testing. Built in self-test sequences test meter performance at turnon and each time meter is zeroed. Diagnostic functions accessed from the front panel give quick indications of meter status. Ranges: 0-1, 0-2, 0-5, 0-10 mW/cm2

It is to be mounted at systems where microwave leakage could be exposed, i.e. at microwave tunnel entrance and exit, doors, etc. The HI-2602 Interlock Monitor provides continuous surveillance of microwave fields for protection of personnel and equipment. The device detects and indicates fields from 0.2-2 mW/cm² through a remotely mounted probe using a patented microwave field sensor. Useable in any critical area, the panel-mounted HI-2602 interlocks with any alarm or microwave source. AC powered, adjustable alarm level.

Complete test set-up transportable in aluminum case. The LCD-Display shows water flow, temperature in/out and microwave power. Waterflow is fine adjustable. Optimally matched water load with WR340 / R26 flange for direct mounting at wave guide. Up to 6kW microwave power can be measured. Therefore microwave heads up to 6kW can be tested.
